About me

My somatic journey began as a passion for and joy in movement. This led to a deep curiosity about the body, and I trained to be a Registered Massage Therapist and have been in professional practice for 15 years.

In recent years I have augmented my practice by studying trauma therapy with Somatic Experiencing International. A desire to be of service to people as they approach the end of their lives led me to train as an End-of-Life Doula with Douglas College. Over the past few decades I have studied various forms of yoga, and have over 1200 hours of formal training as well as a history with dance.

I utilize a ‘whole person’ approach to treatment. My work is measured, careful to negotiate with my clients about what is appropriate and beneficial in each moment. My practice has a foundation of informed consent and respect for boundaries. I aim to empower my clients.

As a member of the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC, I am regulated to provide a high standard of care. I continue to pursue studies in my field and stay current with emerging research and important cultural shifts.

I find fulfillment in my relationships in my small community, walking my dogs in the woods and working on my mini farm with my partner.
